Pitman Fire Company # 1 is an all-volunteer organization comprised of men and women from various backgrounds professions. Each individual’s life experiences is just one small building block that we all learn from and incorporate into our operations. In the grand scheme of everything, everyone is as important to us as the next.

In order to become a Pitman Volunteer Fire Fighter, through our Fire Company, one must be at least 18 years of age. The benefits of becoming a firefighter are many; the sense of family and accomplishment is unlike any other.

Yesterday around 1315 hrs Ladder 2816 responded to Washington Twp for a dwelling fire. The Ladder arrived as the second ladder, placed ground ladders, opened up, and assumed the Rapid Intervention role.
